Aplec de Sant Marc in Guardiola de Berguedà
The Aplec de Sant Marc is back for another year in Guardiola de Berguedà!
The festivities begin with the lighting of the fire in Sant Marc, a symbolic moment that marks the beginning of the festival and invites everyone to climb to the summit in all-terrain vehicles. The following day, the day continues with a hike to the Sant Marc hermitage, followed by a mass in Sant Martí de Brocà, where bread is distributed and the town hall is blessed. Grills are available so everyone can prepare their food outdoors, encouraging the warmth and community among neighbors.
The day concludes with a sardana dance and a popular snack of coca and chocolate, all in a charitable spirit, as donations can be made for childhood cancer research.
