Sant Jordi in Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana

Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana celebrates Sant Jordi with a broad and participatory program, involving entities, educational centers and local businesses in a cultural proposal designed for all audiences.

The highlight of the celebration will be Saturday, April 25th, with a central event that will take place all day and will be divided into two areas: La Sagrera in the morning and El Rieral in the afternoon. During the morning, activities will include a tour of the old shops, scavenger hunts for children, and a storytelling area. Music and folk culture will also play a prominent role with dances featuring giants and gypsies, followed by a poetry reading and the presentation of the Municipal Reading Plan, an initiative aimed at promoting reading habits and strengthening access to culture.

In the afternoon, the program continues with family activities such as workshops, walks, and storytelling, and concludes with more sardana and gypsy dances. Throughout the day, there will also be a book stall, reinforcing the traditional spirit of the day.

Beyond the main day, the program includes concerts, family shows, story time, book presentations, and the Sant Jordi festival at the library. Also noteworthy is the "Bridges Between Planets" exhibition, which combines art, roses, and books, as well as spaces for book exchange and charity sales.

New this year is the Sant Jordi Passport, an initiative that invites citizens to participate in various activities to collect stamps and be eligible for prizes such as book sets or local products.

Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana is committed to a Sant Jordi that goes beyond just one day, becoming a collective celebration that combines culture, reading, tradition and community participation.
