Fort Pienc Main Festival
The Fort Pienc Festival returns from June 4th to 14th, filling the neighborhood with cultural activities, music, and community events for all ages. This year, the festival is even more special as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Residents' Association, a very important milestone for the neighborhood.
The celebration will begin with an opening ceremony at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, where a video about the association's history will be presented. Also noteworthy is the opening address for the Festa Major, which will be given by Loli Herrera, a founding member of the association.
During these days there will be concerts, exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, family activities, and traditional events such as the Diada Castellers (human tower festival), the correfocs (fire runs), the sardana dance, and the popular rice feast. All of this will transform the neighborhood into a large space for celebration and community.
Don't miss it!
