Sant Joan Samora Festival 2026: four days of tradition, music and activities for the whole family!
From August 27 to 30, Sant Joan Samora (Sant Llorenç d'Hortons) will celebrate a new edition of its Major Festival, an essential event to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the municipality with a program designed for all ages.
The festival will begin on Thursday with the traditional "Cuisine Showcase of Yesterday and Always" where participants will share recipes and flavors of popular cuisine.
Friday will be the turn of the Brotherhood Dinner, which this year includes a new addition: a Musical Bingo with prizes, followed by a performance by La Band Gogh Duet, who will offer a repertoire of great pop classics.
Saturday will be dedicated to family and sports activities, with a painting and crafts workshop, foosball, ping-pong, and Rubik's Cube tournaments, a children's show, and a new treasure hunt for adults. The day will culminate with a bar and snack service and a concert by the band The Aguateques, who will keep the crowd dancing well into the night.
The festival will close on Sunday with the service at the Sant Joan Samora chapel, water games, a fun foam party, a musical vermouth with rumba rhythms, the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the planting of giants and the traditional closing concert by Aviadors Anglesos.
A major festival that combines tradition, popular culture, gastronomy, live music and activities to share with the family, making Sant Joan Samora an ideal destination to enjoy the last days of summer in the Alt Penedès.
