Experience Christmas with industrial tourism activities for the whole famil

Christmas is an ideal time to discover Catalonia's industrial heritage through creative, fun and cultural activities designed for all ages.

Here are some of the proposals from the members of the Xarxa de Turisme Industrial de Cataluña (XATIC):

Creative workshop: We make a 2D chocolate Tió

Christmas is coming, and a traditional Tió de Nadal (Christmas log) is a must-have at home . At the Ecomuseum-Farinera, families can create one out of chocolate. December 20, 2025.

"Intimate Christmas Special" Concert

For families and music lovers: the "Intimate" series presents a candlelit concert featuring the Escriny Choir. It's a sonic journey through contemporary choral music from around the world, with works by current composers. December 21, 2025.

Coal collection for Their Majesties the Three Wise Men

The Cercs Mining Museum has the honor of receiving a visit from Their Majesties the Three Kings to collect the large order of coal they have placed at the Sant Romà mine.

Upon their arrival at the Sant Corneli mining colony, all the children will be able to greet them days before the traditional parade night. December 21, 2025.

Winter activities at the Water Museum

The museum is offering two family activities from December 21st to January 11th:

• "Liquid Postcards." Children can unleash their creativity by exploring different artistic techniques to create winter postcards with plenty of aquatic inspiration.
• "Hidden Stories." A self-guided adventure for the whole family: children will follow a map that will lead them through the most special corners of the Museum to find different clues. If they solve them, they will discover where the Museum's most secret water jugs are hidden.

Children's workshop: "Christmas Notebook"

At the Terrassa Textile Museum, children aged 6 and up can create a personal journal with Japanese binding and decorative fabrics. A creative way to experience Christmas. December 23, 2025.

The Secret of Fabrics: Warp and Weft - Christmas Special

Discover the art of weaving at the Water and Textile Museum. With the help of small handlooms, you'll learn about warp and weft in textiles, discover different types of fibers, fabrics, yarns, cords, and ribbons, and even try weaving with your hands. December 27, 2025.
