European Heritage Days in Súria

Súria proposes a walk in the Miranda archaeological site on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, an activity that combines hiking, discovery of the territory and archaeology in an environment close to the municipality.

The hike will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM, starting at the Can Sivila roundabout, on the outskirts of Súria, on the road towards Cardona. From this point, participants will begin a walk to the La Miranda archaeological site, making the route an opportunity to enjoy the scenery and gradually approach one of the area's archaeological sites.

Once at the archaeological site, refreshments will be provided, and the more informative part of the activity will begin. A specialist archaeologist will explain the latest research and discoveries made in Miranda, offering attendees an up-to-date perspective on the importance of the site and the information that archaeological work allows us to recover from the past.

The proposal is organized by Turisme Súria, with the collaboration of the Súria Hiking Centre, and is part of the activities dedicated to bringing the historical and archaeological heritage closer to the public.

The activity is free and the arrival and return point will be the same as the departure point.

A great opportunity to discover the heritage of Súria in an active way, walking through the territory and learning firsthand about the latest archaeological research at the Miranda site.
