Chestnut festival in La Massana

The Castañada festival arrives in La Massana, an autumn day designed for families to enjoy, combining tradition, film, music, and creative activities. Plaça de les Fontetes and the Teatre de les Fontetes will be the main venues for a free program open to audiences of all ages.

As a pre-Day activity, children can participate in the "Witch's Soup" workshop, a creative activity that will introduce them to the magical and mysterious atmosphere of this time of year. Advance booking is required for this activity, which will help them get into the spirit of All Saints' Day.

The main part of the program will take place on October 31st, with several events spread throughout the day. Film will be featured with a screening of a family movie, while in the plaza there will be a workshop for children and adults to enjoy together, along with other activities designed to liven up the day.

Music will also be part of the festivities, with a DJ set to help create a lively atmosphere before one of the most anticipated moments: the traditional chestnut roast. Roasted chestnuts will once again take center stage at this event, inviting everyone to come out, reconnect, and enjoy one of autumn's most characteristic traditions.

The proposal thus combines traditional elements with current and family activities, offering different ways to celebrate All Saints in La Massana.
