The Cal Mateuet country house is located in Cerdanya, in Travesseres, a small village situated at an altitude of 1,150 m, from where you can appreciate an unbeatable view of the Sierra del Cadí, one of the most appreciated landscapes of Cerdanya.

This is a renovated old barn, converted into three independent rural houses. From its livestock pens and haylofts, situated around the main house with a large threshing floor for access, three independent houses have been created ( one of them adapted for people with disabilities ). From here, we can offer tranquility, spaciousness, and wonderful views of the Cerdanya region. Not forgetting the vegetable garden, an essential source of produce in rural life, and the farm animals (rabbits, hens, chickens, cows, calves, horses, etc.) to help you disconnect from daily life and, above all, relax.

Activities

The Cal Mateuet Rural House in Cerdanya is an ideal starting point for excursions to the mountains, to the "La Pera" lake, to the Tossa Plana de Lles, to the Sierra del Cadí, and to enjoy unforgettable days thanks to the countless routes available.

In autumn, the surrounding area is transformed into a prolific zone for all kinds of mushrooms.

In winter, you'll always have the option of cross-country skiing on the "Arànser" and "Lles" trails, some of the largest in Spain. You'll also find downhill ski slopes in Masella, La Molina, Andorra, Les Angles, and other areas.

All kinds of adventure sports, from hot air ballooning to rafting and canoeing in the Segre Olympic Park ( La Seu d'Urgell ).
