Museu Casa Rull la Massana
The Casa Rull Museum, located in Sispony, in the parish of La Massana, Andorra, is a window to the past that allows visitors to delve into the daily life of a well-off peasant family of the 19th and 20th centuries. This stately home, one of the richest of its time, offers a unique experience for understanding Andorran culture and traditions.
Built in the 17th century, Casa Rull was the home of the Perich family, a family of landed peasants who played a prominent role in Andorran society. Over the centuries, the house underwent several modifications, including a reconstruction after a fire in the 19th century that destroyed part of its original structure.
In 2000, the house was converted into a museum to preserve and disseminate the country's cultural heritage.
The museum allows visitors to explore the different rooms of the house, from the kitchen to the bedrooms, including the spaces for storing and drying agricultural products. Each corner is equipped with original furniture and utensils that reflect the daily activities related to agriculture and livestock farming, offering an authentic view of Andorran rural life.
