Andorra Taste - Escaldes-Engordany

Escaldes-Engordany will once again become a major meeting point for gastronomy lovers with a new edition of Andorra Taste, the international congress dedicated to high-altitude cuisine. Chefs, producers, and professionals from different regions will share knowledge, experiences, and new ways of understanding the relationship between cuisine, landscape, and identity.

This year, France will be the guest country, offering a deeper exploration of the richness of its Alpine cuisine. Representatives from the Alps, the Pyrenees, and other regions with strong culinary traditions will also participate, demonstrating how local products, climate, and cultural heritage influence each culinary creation.

El Prat del Roure will host the professional sessions, featuring presentations by renowned chefs, sommeliers, and specialists. The sessions will focus on sustainability, biodiversity, innovation, the role of producers, and the preservation of traditional knowledge and foods.

The event will also recognize the career of Peruvian chef Virgilio Martínez with the Andorra Taste Award. His work stands out for transforming gastronomy into a tool for research, heritage protection, and the promotion of the region.

The general public can participate in Andorra Taste Popular, which will transform Carrer dels Veedors into a space filled with flavors and a great atmosphere. You'll find signature tapas, tastings, artisanal products, cooking demonstrations, workshops, and live music.
