The church of Santa Coloma is one of the oldest in Andorra, with pre-Romanesque origins dating back to the 10th century. Its most distinctive features include its circular Lombard bell tower, the only one of its kind in the country. It is an exceptional example of Romanesque architecture in the Pyrenees due to its shape and also preserves remains of pictorial decoration and a sculpted head.

Inside, you can admire some of the original fragments of the Romanesque paintings, combined with the projection of an innovative video map. This technological resource allows the entire original pictorial program in the apse to be digitally recreated, offering visitors an immersive experience that transports them back to medieval times.

The original paintings that decorated the apse are currently preserved in the Espai Columba, a museum located a few meters from the church, dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of Andorra's medieval heritage.

The church also houses other interesting artifacts, such as a carving of Our Lady of the Remedy, a modern-era tabernacle, and a Baroque altarpiece, all of which enrich its artistic heritage. This space, steeped in symbolism and history, is a living testament to the evolution of art and religion in the valleys of Andorra.

The church is visited in conjunction with the Espai Columba.
