El Serrat
El Serrat is a population center of the Principality of Andorra located in the parish of Ordino.
It is located about three kilometers from Llorts, at an altitude of 1,550 m, at the point of confluence of the Rialb and the Sorteny river with the Tristaina riverbank, which forms the Ordino riverbank. This town was formerly a temporary residence site. Their houses were closed in winter and only in good weather did men and entire families from other towns in the valley sell to work in the fields, from the meadows and pastures that surround the place.
His forge, which was hit by a flood in 1840, also worked in the spring and summer months and was partially operated by the Arenys and Rossell de Ordino. The church of Sant Pere del Serrat presides over the old town.
