Under the name VADE Fires, Canyelles concentrates all the main spring events into a single weekend.

The multi-sector fair returns, where gastronomy, popular culture, economic activity, motoring enthusiasts, crafts, tradition and music come together in a day full of activities to enjoy with the family.

The new edition of the event will include the Motor Show, the Sant Ponç Fair, the traditional Popular Snail Festival, the Crafts Fair, the Vegan and Second Hand Fair and the Entities Exhibition, turning Canyelles into a great space for meeting, commerce and popular celebration.

The big news this year is the recognition of Abel Moreno, chef of Tasqueta Cal Miguelín in El Pla del Penedès and winner of the best sandwich in Spain in 2024, who will be distinguished as Honorary Snail Cook 2026. Also participating as a special guest is chef Josep Vila, head of Mister Plat catering and chef of the popular snail tastings of the Federation of Clubs of the Aplec del Cargol de Lleida, who will be in charge of the kitchen for the snails cooked in a tin.

During the day, visitors will also be able to enjoy an exhibition dedicated to the illustrator Salvador Mestres, the awarding of the prizes of the Pere Massana photography competition and the presentation of the book of the 6th Castell de Canyelles Literary Competition, among many other activities.
