Solidarity Walk through Ripollès - Fent Via

On Sunday, June 7th, we propose the best way to discover Ripollès and its villages, through the Solidarity Walk through Vallfogona de Ripollès - Fent Via!

This year's edition will feature three routes of varying difficulty, including a new short route specially designed for families, children, and the elderly.

Participants will be able to choose between:

• Short walk - approximately 5 km. A gentle and accessible route of 4.47 km with 124 m of elevation gain and a maximum altitude of 1,005 m, in the area above La Tosca. It's the ideal option for a stroll, enjoying the surroundings and participating in the day's events without significant physical exertion. Bib collection will be from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m., breakfast will be available from 9:00 a.m., and the walk will start at 10:30 a.m.
  • Adult price: €10 / Child price (under 14 years): €5.
• Medium hike - approximately 14 km. A 13.96 km route with 612 m of elevation gain, reaching the Creu del Castell at an altitude of 1,493 m. The route features a steady climb until approximately kilometer 8, after which it begins its descent. This is a moderate-level option, designed for people accustomed to hiking. Bib collection will be from 7:05 to 8:15 am, breakfast will begin at 7:05 am, and the hike will start at 8:30 am.
  • Adult price: €15 / Child price (under 14 years): €10.
• Long Hike - approximately 20 km. The most demanding route, with 19.54 km and 661 m of elevation gain. The trail reaches Santa Magdalena, the highest point of the three routes, at 1,542 m above sea level. This option is designed for the most prepared hikers looking for a more challenging hike. Bib collection will be from 6:00 to 6:45 a.m., breakfast will be available from 6:00 a.m., and the hike will start at 7:00 a.m.
  • Adult price: €20 / Child price (under 14 years): €10.

In addition, there will be an early distribution of race numbers on Saturday, June 6, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The day will be non-competitive and will include breakfast, refreshments, commemorative gifts and a fraternal meal (price separate), in an open, popular and inclusive environment.

Beyond the sporting activity, Fent Via maintains its commitment to the local community. The proceeds will go towards supporting the Home Hospitalization project of the Campdevànol Hospital, with the aim of bringing medical and care services closer to the elderly and vulnerable people of Ripollès.

The walk is made possible with the involvement of the Rotary Club of Ripollès, the Campdevànol Hospital and various collaborators in the area, who make possible a day of nature, health and solidarity open to everyone.
