Les Planes del Grau is a fully restored 14th-century farmhouse. It comprises three buildings: the main house, the hayloft, and the cabin. Throughout the renovation process, we prioritized renewable energy and energy efficiency, aiming to combine comfort and sustainability. For energy, we have a biomass boiler.

It is located amidst cultivated fields and livestock lands, surrounded by pine forests and natural meadows of the Serra de la Guaitada and at the foot of the Serra Cavallera.

Every detail and corner of our hotel has been carefully considered and designed to help you disconnect from your daily routine. Here you will rest in a warm, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere, reconnect with yourselves, and nourish your senses amidst the sounds of nature and a landscape that changes with the passing of the hours.

We wanted to create comfortable, warm, and functional spaces with modern finishes adapted to the structure of a farmhouse with over six centuries of history. You'll find a rural hotel with a simple and minimalist design, yet intimate and welcoming, with every detail carefully considered to help you disconnect, forget about time, and enjoy the passing hours.

The old rooms of the manor house have been transformed into guest rooms, a restaurant, and a lounge. The hayloft has also been converted into guest rooms and a multipurpose room for business meetings and celebrations. Our facilities include an access ramp, making Les Planes del Grau a rural hotel adapted for people with reduced mobility.

All our rooms are in direct contact with nature, overlooking the plain through a small enclosed balcony or a porticoed terrace, where you can read, listen to music, chat or simply rest and do nothing while contemplating an idyllic landscape full of colors that changes with the months of the year.

On the lower floor of the old manor house, next to the restaurant and with direct access to the porticoed terrace, we have a lounge overlooking the plains. You can use it throughout the day and enjoy the fireplace and a library with a diverse selection of international fiction and a collection of books about the landscape, history, and culture of Ripollès and the neighboring regions.

Hospitality, livestock farming and gastronomy in the same environment

The rural hotel's grounds are part of a cattle farm. We are committed to combining traditional livestock farming with hospitality, with initiatives such as using high-quality, seasonal local products in our cuisine and raising organic beef and lamb from Ripollès, which you can enjoy at the Les Planes del Grau restaurant.

Our smallest double rooms feature a double bed and a small private terrace. Did you know that Les Planes del Grau is a rural hotel with a swimming pool? From the terraces of these rooms, you can access it directly: from the bed to the pool.

Thinking of a romantic rural getaway in Catalonia? In Les Planes del Grau   We have the perfect room. Same style as our standard rooms, but even more spacious, ideal if you need to add an extra bed. The balcony and bed are larger than those in our standard rooms. Double bed only.

The Superior Double Rooms are the hotel's most spacious rooms. A true oasis of comfort and relaxation, they can accommodate two people and feature a sitting area furnished with two comfortable armchairs from which to enjoy views over the plains.

Located on the first and second floors, they face south, so they receive sunlight and light through the arches of the farmhouse.

Family Room

Rural hotel suitable for families with children.

The family rooms at Les Planes del Grau are two-story rooms with one double bed and two single beds. Ideal for families.

In the old hayloft we have created comfortable rooms designed to accommodate the whole family, more spacious and distributed over two levels, where everyone will find their own private corner.

The lower space, with a double bed, is designed for adults and is connected by a staircase to the upper part, where there are two single beds for the youngest members of the family.
