Medieval Market of Vic

As every December, Vic takes another trip back in time! However, this 2026 it does so in a very special way: the Vic Medieval Market celebrates 30 years of history, three decades transforming the historic center into a large village full of life, magic and tradition.

For a few days, the city's streets and squares will be filled with music, colors, aromas, and characters from another era. The sounds of grallas (traditional Basque flutes) will resonate among facades adorned with flags and coats of arms, artisans will demonstrate ancient crafts, stalls will offer products made using traditional methods, and the scent of spices, embers, and sweets will invite you to indulge all your senses.

This year, to celebrate such a special anniversary, the market will debut new shows and spaces designed to immerse you even further in the medieval era. Street performances, musicians, dances, tavern owners, fairground vendors, knights, and fantastical characters will bring to life a unique experience for young and old alike, where every corner may hold a surprise and any square can become a stage.
