La Purito Andorra in Sant Julià de Lòria
Purito Andorra celebrates another edition with a program designed to let you experience mountain biking in one of the country's most spectacular settings. Founded by Joaquín "Purito" Rodríguez, this cycling tour has become a highlight for bike enthusiasts, with routes adapted to different levels of experience and fitness.
The race offers three routes. The most demanding route is 116 kilometers long with 4,200 meters of elevation gain and six mountain passes. The intermediate option is 75 kilometers long with 2,900 meters of elevation gain and four passes, while the shortest option is 26 kilometers long with 900 meters of elevation gain and two passes.
During the ride, you'll cycle through some of Andorra's most famous mountain passes, such as La Rabassa-La Peguera (1,821 m), Coll de la Gallina (1,910 m), Alt de la Comella (1,347 m), Lake Engolasters (1,600 m), Collada de Beixalís (1,796 m), and Coll de Ordino (1,980 m). Each route combines effort, scenery, and the thrill of overcoming some of the region's greatest cycling challenges.
All categories will start from Sant Julià de Lòria and finish at Cortals de Encamp, the highest point of the route.
Whether you're looking to challenge yourself or enjoy a day of cycling surrounded by mountains, you'll find a suitable option for you.
