Among the treasures that our Mediterranean Sea bestows upon us, the prawn stands out as the main protagonist during this time of year.

The prawns caught in the waters of Alcanar have a distinctive physiology. With a shiny outer shell and white spots, they live in very shallow waters, such as the bay of Els Alfacs, where the nutrient input from the Ebro River explains their high concentration and quality.
