Les Piles celebrates the Biure de Gaià Festival once again!

Biure is preparing to celebrate its main festival with a program that combines tradition, culture, and shared experiences. The celebration is an opportunity to reconnect, enjoy the town's roots, and participate in activities designed for all ages.

The festivities begin with one of the most traditional events: Mass at the Church of Sant Joan Baptista, which kicks off the celebration in a solemn atmosphere. Following this, culture takes center stage with a literary presentation accompanied by a glass of wine, creating a space for literary exchange and conviviality. The day continues with a Bollywood dance performance, adding a dynamic and unique touch that enriches the festive program.

The following day, the festivities move to the natural setting of the Biure spring, where they begin with a traditional breakfast of butifarra sausage, a deeply rooted and eagerly anticipated custom. This is followed by a more traditional celebration with a prayer and the singing of hymns at the Sant Miquel hermitage, reinforcing the connection to local heritage and history.

The musical vermouth session is one of the liveliest moments of the day, ideal for sharing with friends and family before the communal lunch, where fideuà takes center stage. In the afternoon, children's activities take over with fun options like games and snacks for the little ones, ensuring enjoyment for the whole family.
