More information

Organized by: Verdú

The Verdú Castle Tower is the most emblematic element of the fortification; it rises to a height of 25 meters and becomes a magnificent viewpoint over Urgell and the entire Corb Valley.

Built at the end of the 11th century, it served a defensive and surveillance purpose. Access is through a small door located approximately ten meters above the ground. Inside, sgraffito carvings on the stone are still preserved, attesting to the presence of life throughout history, probably during different periods.

Today, the tower of Verdú Castle has become a magnificent viewpoint from which you can admire the vast Pla d'Urgell plain, as well as the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees mountains. You can book your visit to climb the tower by emailing [email protected].
