Espolla's Main Festival

Espolla celebrates its summer festival with culture, music and plenty of village life!

The program will combine popular events, exhibitions, workshops, family activities, and community gatherings. The first few days will be dedicated to creativity and culture, with painting workshops open to participants of all ages and an exhibition of their work. There will also be a focus on literature, with the presentation of a book that will introduce the public to history and memory.

Family activities will play a prominent role, with wooden games and human tower building, designed for a fun and engaging afternoon. The festival will also include a new edition of the summer lip-sync performance, a festive and entertaining event that will bring together participants and the public for an evening filled with humor, music, and a great atmosphere.

Popular culture will be a central focus of the celebration, featuring a market, parade, the unveiling of giant figures, and a gathering of the giants. These events will fill the streets with color, music, and tradition, showcasing the municipality's festive heritage and the involvement of local organizations.

Sunday will bring the more traditional side of the festivities, with a solemn service, sardana dancing, a vermouth gathering, and activities focused on cooperative heritage. The music will continue in the afternoon with dancing and more sardana performances to close the celebration with a strong sense of community.
