Aplec de Sant Ponç in Tordera

As every year, the Festival Committee and the Tordera Parish are in charge of organizing the activities of the Aplec de Sant Ponç, around the Torderense hermitage.

At 12 noon the traditional blessing of roses and the solemn service will begin with the accompaniment of the Sant Esteve Parish Choir. Next, there will be a procession along the esplanade of the hermitage accompanied by the Colla de Geganters and Grallers de Tordera and at the end there will be a singing of joys.

At 2:00 p.m. the popular rice will take place, prepared with about 200 kilos of rice so that up to 2,000 people can try it.

At 4:00 p.m., the game of breaking the pot, by "Piñatas amb cor" and at 5:30 p.m. on the Sant Ponç esplanade , the sardanas will begin by the Cobla Ciutat de Terrassa.

There will also be free bus service!
