Xató Week in Sant Pere de Ribes

Sant Pere de Ribes is part of the Xató Route, a gastronomic and tourism initiative that brings together different towns in the Greater Penedès region with the aim of promoting the area through its signature dish: xató. This initiative invites visitors to enjoy an experience that combines gastronomy, culture, landscape, and wine tourism, reinforcing the culinary identity of the Garraf and Penedès regions.

The municipality participates with four restaurants in the town of Ribes, which offer everything from their most traditional version of xató to their own interpretations with unique ingredients.

The establishments participating in the initiative are La Nova Premsa, La Farina, Marboa Gastrobar, and La Terraza del Factor, all ready to offer an authentic and varied tasting of xató. Each kitchen can create its own version and experiment with different ingredients, making the tasting an open and creative gastronomic experience.

The Xató Route is a proposal that goes beyond simply eating and drinking well; it is a gastronomic itinerary closely linked to the wines of the DO Penedès and a unique dish in the world.
