Visit the interior of the Llorts iron mine in Ordino

The guided tour of the Llorts iron mine allows you to discover the workings of the iron industry from the early 17th century to the late 19th century, when it was one of the most important economic activities in the Principality of Andorra. This mine, along with others, supplied the forges of Ordino, although it was only open for four years due to the small quantity of iron found, making it unprofitable.

Remember that after the guided tour of the mine, you can walk the entire Iron Route, visiting the various contemporary sculptures you'll find outdoors that reflect work and life in that era and sector. You can continue along the path to Farga Rossell.

• From mid-June to September 30th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• June and September: Closed Sunday afternoons and all day Monday.
• July and August, open every day
