Mirador Solar de Tristaina Ordino
The Tristaina gondola has cabins with glass floors that turn the ascent into a panoramic experience.
The Ordino Arcalís station remains one of the most visited places in summer in Andorra. The spectacular natural wealth of the ordinary valley, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, attracts thousands of hikers during the hot months. In fact, the star excursion to the country of the Pyrenees is the ascent to the Tristaina Lakes and the Tristaina Solar Viewpoint, which opened in summer 2021.
From the first moment it became one of the summer essentials in Andorra. The impressive circular structure located at 2,700 meters above sea level, which is easily accessible via the Tristiana cable car and the Cressuans chairlift, allows you to enjoy exceptional views of the Tristaina Lakes and the Ordino Valley.
Furthermore, one of the recent additions last summer were the six new cabins with transparent glass floors that give the sensation of flying over the mountain during the more than kilometer and a half of the ascent from Hortell to Coma de Arcalís.. A panoramic experience.
For those who want to discover Ordino Arcalís on foot, the Grandvalira Mountain Guides, the resort's expert guides, prepare special themed outings, among which the sunrise walk to see the sun rise from the viewpoint stands out.
As for gastronomy, the La Coma Restaurant and its magnificent high-altitude cuisine round out the day in the mountains.
