Parc Natural Vall de Sorteny Ordino
The Vall de Sorteny Natural Park is located in the Principality of Andorra, in the town of Ordino. This natural park has a very important biological diversity and contributes primarily to the preservation of the biodiversity of the Pyrenees. The natural park has a great floristic diversity with more than 800 species, of which many are endemic to the Pyrenees and a hundred are rare.
Within the Natural Park, you will find a botanical garden of approximately 800m2, which is home to nearly 300 species of flora classified by habitats. Next to the garden you can see the Estripagecs sculpture, a sculptural group made up of five large totems and created by the Andorran artist Pere Moles. After a walk of about 30 minutes, we find the shelter, the old Borda-Refugio de Sorteny, renovated and expanded, it is now a space with all the comfort.
To discover the Park, there are experienced guides at your disposal who will help you discover this jewel of the Andorran landscape. There are numerous excursions with different levels of difficulty, such as the one to Lake Estanyó, the circular one at the Grau de la Llosa viewpoint and other more demanding ones such as the Serrera peak (2,913m).
