Paraula Festival in Sant Julià de Vilatorta

Sant Julià de Vilatorta celebrates a new edition of the Paraula Festival, which was created with the aim of making the word the central focus of a week full of literature, music and performing arts.

The festival features a small-scale program that combines different artistic disciplines and brings together musicians, poets, writers, actors, and creators who will present their work in various unique spaces throughout the municipality. The initiative aims to offer an intimate and accessible cultural experience, highlighting the power of words as a vehicle for connection, emotion, and reflection.

The festival was also created with the intention of growing and consolidating itself in future editions, progressively incorporating local authors and strengthening the link with the cultural community of the municipality.

The Paraula Festival also aims to pay tribute to Anton Carrera, a renowned master of words, championing culture as a shared space open to everyone. The program will combine free activities with pay-what-you-want events, a formula designed to facilitate access to culture while fostering engagement with participating artists.

With this initiative, the municipality is committed to a vibrant, accessible and participatory culture, capable of filling the streets and spaces of the town with music, poetry, thought and creativity.
