MEV, Museu d'Art Medieval Vic
I am the MEV, Museum of Medieval Art of Vic, an arc of connection between the medieval past and the current world. I contain exceptional works of painting and sculpture from the Catalan Romanesque and Gothic that explain what art and life were like in the Middle Ages. My collections of goldsmithing, fabric, wrought iron, glass and ceramics allow us to take a complete journey through the history of decorative arts in Catalonia. I am past and also present: through immersive digital experiences I become an accessible museum where everyone can discover the collections in surprising ways. I am today, a thousand years ago.
