Milanyada in Vallfogona de Ripollès

Come to Vallfogona de Ripollès to enjoy the Milanyada and relive a route of the maquis in the middle of the beech forests of the Santa Magdalena and Milany mountain range.

Participants can choose between a short 11 km route, with a maximum elevation gain of 330 meters, and a longer 22 km route, with up to 500 meters of elevation gain and finishing in Santa Llúcia de Puigmal. The short route starts from the Sports Complex at 8:00 AM and the long route at 7:30 AM.

Both routes will share some of the most interesting sections of the day. The route will follow the GR3 trail to the n'Orri Springs and continue along the old communal paths through the Clot de la Condesa, passing by the Bac d'Amunt houses of Can Mandena and Can Ventura. A stop will be made at the ruins of Cal Ros for a hot breakfast before continuing the hike.

On the return leg, participants will meet again, descending from the PR C-59 along the old herd path to the Puigsec reservoir, from where they will reach the village via the Can Civat track.

Registration includes refreshments, a hot lunch, and a commemorative t-shirt. To guarantee your chosen size, registration must be completed before October 13th.

The organizers remind participants that cups will not be provided, so each participant must bring their own cup or drinking container.
