Meeting of Bell Ringers in Os de Balaguer

The bells are ringing again in Os de Balaguer, as they have every last weekend of April since 1987. This tradition began when the mayor and the priest at the time wanted to pay tribute to the local bell ringer, an essential figure in the life of the village.

The initiative is a tribute to all bell ringers and a celebration of the profession, which has been present throughout history in many cultures. For this very reason, the special ringing that takes place each year aims to support a cause considered just, thus contributing to raising social awareness.

The event begins with the welcoming of the bell ringers and the issuance of necessary accreditations. In addition, a new edition of the Local Food and Craft Fair will be held, where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of local products. There will be a communal breakfast and lunch, as well as many other activities that will make this day an unforgettable experience.
