European Week for Waste Reduction in Fogars de la Selva
Come and enjoy European Waste Reduction Week in Fogars de la Selva!
Current consumption levels, often associated with high waste generation, are causing serious degradation of ecosystems worldwide. The effects are already being felt, including in the form of climate change, and there's no time to lose—we must act! But what can we do to help?
We'll start with a community forest cleanup, and after a hearty breakfast for all the volunteers, there will be a talk titled "Zero Waste Christmas." Following that, we'll hold a workshop on making a loofah, a type of natural scouring pad.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 22nd at 9:00 AM at the Museo de la Pagesia in Fogars de la Selva. Register now! All the information is available on the attached poster. Remember that places are limited and you have until November 18th to register.
