Carnival in Vallgorguina

Vallgorguina Square will become the epicenter of celebration and revelry with Carnival!

An afternoon designed to celebrate the diversity, creativity and joy of Carnival, with a proposal open to all ages and with absolute prominence for costumes.

The festivities begin with a parade and entertainment that winds through the town center , accompanied by the musical group Xarop de Canya, providing rhythm and a festive atmosphere throughout the celebration. Live music sets the pace of the parade and invites participants and spectators alike to dance and enjoy the Carnival in the streets.

One of the highlights of the day is the costume contest, which celebrates originality, creativity, and teamwork. The judges will evaluate aspects such as the most original costumes, the quality of the tailoring, the choreography, and the dancing, making the contest a space for artistic and festive expression.

The Vallgorguina Carnival features several categories, designed so that everyone can participate: children, juniors, and seniors, as well as couples and groups, both small and large. This variety allows families, groups of friends, and other groups to get involved in preparing their costumes and experience Carnival together.

Organized by the Vallgorguina Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Town Hall, Carnival is a deeply rooted local festival that emphasizes participation, good humor, and community spirit.
