Bruc's main festival
The El Bruc Festival is here!
The streets and squares will become meeting places where you can participate, reconnect with people and enjoy the festive atmosphere at the foot of Montserrat.
This year, the celebration will have a special connection to the Gaudí Year and the town's modernist heritage. The opening address will recount the history of Can Casas through a theatrical performance that will transport the audience back to the beginnings of the construction of this iconic building.
The program combines sports tournaments, a popular bike ride, and refreshing activities with sardana dancing, concerts, dances, and musical performances. The Plaza del Patio de Can Casas will be one of the main venues for the evenings, with offerings ranging from traditional rhythms to more festive music.
Children and young people will also find activities designed especially for them. Water inflatables, a Holi festival, a nighttime treasure hunt, and various other fun areas will allow them to experience the Fiesta Mayor in an active and participatory way.
Popular culture will take to the streets with the parade, while the mass and lunch for senior citizens will maintain the more traditional aspects of the celebration. The fun run will once again bring together participants of different ages and abilities.
Habaneras and rum will bring the festivities to a close with a relaxed, nautical evening. Come to Bruc and enjoy a few days filled with tradition, fun, and good times.
