Popular walk: 'Aplec del Pa i l'Empenta' in Subirats

Subirats offers a guided itinerary to experience the municipality; it is a popular walk with a local guide to the Castle of Subirats to enjoy the 'Aplec del Pa i l'Empenta'.

This route follows a section of the Subirats viewpoint trail, with a low-medium difficulty level, and is suitable for all ages, ideal for enjoying with family or friends.

Along the way, we will discover dry stone walls and huts, farmhouses, old lime kilns, the Miravinya La Bardera, the paleontological site of Els Casots and the Castle of Subirats, all surrounded by the colors and beauty of spring among vineyards, forests and fruit trees.

You need to bring your own breakfast; we'll stop at Miravinya La Bardera for breakfast. We recommend wearing comfortable, appropriate footwear, bringing reusable water bottles (which can be refilled at the starting point), and if you wish, you can request to borrow trekking poles in advance.

• Schedule: Start at 9:00 am (Duration: approximately 2 hours 30 minutes).
• Starting point: Subirats Tourist Office.
• Parking is available at the station. The return trip from the Castle is free.
• Unlimited places. No reservation required, although prior registration is recommended.
