National Amateur Theater Exhibition of Pineda de Mar

The great showcase of amateur theater in the country opens a new edition in Pineda de Mar!

A meeting place, a universal space where all kinds of people and ideologies embraced by a common denominator: the Theater.

There are many spaces in the municipality that will be filled with theater, the Pineda de Mar National Amateur Theater Show wants to show that amateur theater, maintaining a non-professional approach, works with the utmost rigor in staging and in the work of analysis and interpretation.

It also wants to show the quality of the scenic representations of non-professional entities and recognize the effort of those people who have selflessly participated in the development of Amateur Theatre.

Based on theatrical performances, talks and debates, this Show wants to contribute to Catalan culture by offering the chance to enjoy the theater, letting us all be carried away together by its magic.

Throughout four days the program will offer a wide variety of styles, from musicals to the usual genres of comedy and drama, through magic and poetry.
