Sardana gathering in L'Estany

L'Estany is experiencing a new edition of the Sardana gathering, an event that will once again bring together fans of traditional Catalan dance in an afternoon full of music, popular culture and camaraderie.

The Pista Vella will become the meeting point for locals and visitors who want to enjoy one of the most representative expressions of Catalan cultural heritage. The Ciutat de Cornellà and Marinada groups will perform a varied repertoire of sardanas, inviting both regular dancers and those who want to experience this tradition for the first time.

Small groups will fill the space with music and movement on a day designed for sharing, dancing, and enjoying the festive atmosphere. The event will also include an impromptu group competition, a participatory activity that will allow spontaneous groups to form and experience the sardana in a fun and engaging way.

Traditional cuisine will also be part of the gathering, with the distribution of bread, wine, and sugar to attendees. This initiative will help revive a popular afternoon snack linked to the memories and customs of many generations. Several raffles will also be held throughout the afternoon.

The activity is organized by the Association of the Elderly of l'Estany and the City Council, with the collaboration of entities, institutions and establishments in the territory.

A gathering to keep the sardana alive, strengthen bonds between generations, and share an afternoon of music and tradition. The Aplec de Sardanas is thus establishing itself as a celebration open to everyone and an opportunity to discover the charm of the Estany.

Don't miss it!
