Castell del Remei Night Race in Penelles
Penelles celebrates one more year the Castell del Remei Night Course, with the two modalities 9 km walking or running, or 14 km running.
The Castell del Remei, a building built on an old building to which, at the end of the 19th century, the Girona family, representative of the Catalan upper bourgeoisie, conferred the structure of a castle by adding the characteristic four battlements.
The race arose from the desire to create a massive sporting event in solidarity with the Catalan Lupus Foundation to publicize the disease and attract resources for scientific research.
