Meeting of sketchers from Moianès in L'Estany

L'Estany will host another Moianès Sketchers Meeting, a day dedicated to urban sketching and discovering the region through an artistic lens. The event will take place from 09:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., meeting at the Plaça del Monestir de l'Estany.

This year's edition will be special, as it celebrates 10 years of drawing in the Moianès region and coincides with the 100th drawing event organized in the area. At the same time, it will be the eleventh drawing event held specifically in the Estany area, solidifying this initiative as an original way to observe and interpret the landscapes, streets, and heritage of the region.

The day will begin with the arrival of participants and will continue with the presentation of the event and the opening of the exhibition "10 Years, 100 Drawings in the Moianès". Afterwards, attendees can participate in a sketching session on location, following the spirit of sketchcrawls: going out to draw as a group, following a route and capturing in a sketchbook what catches their eye, be it a building, a corner, a square or any detail of the landscape.

The workshop is open to both experienced artists and those who want to try drawing for the first time. The important thing is to observe, interpret, and share the experience.

The commemorative exhibition can be visited from October 5th to 18th in the Multipurpose Room of the House of Culture of L'Estany.
