Meeting of Armed Forces from the Tarragona Regions in Vilallonga del Camp

Vilallonga del Camp will host, on March 22, 2026, the XXVII Meeting of Armed Groups from the Tarragona Regions, a day that will bring together different groups of armed groups from the territory and that will fill the streets of the municipality with tradition, popular culture and heritage.

The event is organized by the Armats de Villalonga del Camp - Vilallonguins, in collaboration with the Town Hall, and will feature 16 groups from various municipalities in the Tarragona region. Participating towns include: Juneda, Flix, El Vendrell, L'Arboç, Montblanc, Espluga de Francolí, Pla de Santa Maria, Valls, Riudecols, Sangre de Reus, Blancos de Reus, Alcover, Constantino, La Pobla de Mafumet, La Selva del Camp, and Vilallonga del Camp.

Program of the day

The meeting will begin early in the morning with the arrival of the different armed groups:

• 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.: Arrival and reception of the participating groups at the schools in the municipality, where the material and clothing will be unloaded.
• 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Breakfast for the armed forces and volunteers on the multi-sports court.
• 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.: Preparation and dressing of the armed men before the parade.
• 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: Arrival and reception of the authorities in the Plaza de la Creu.

At 10:00 a.m. the parade will begin through the streets of the municipality, with an approximate route of 2.26 kilometers.

The day will end with the arrival of all the groups at Plaza de la Pau between 12:30 and 13:30, at which point the meeting will be considered over.
