Sant Martí Festival in Altafulla

Everything ready to celebrate the Major Festival of Sant Martí de Altafulla!

For more than two weeks, the festival will combine traditional events with recreational and cultural activities. There will be giants and dwarfs, human towers, stick dancers, gralla players, devils, fire runs, street parades, and sardana dances, as well as iconic moments such as the opening proclamation, the procession of Saint Martin, the raising of the pillar up the stairs, and other events featuring the popular retinue of Altafulla.

Music will also play a prominent role with concerts, traditional dances, musical vermouth sessions, DJ sets, and a big youth party. Families will also find entertainment, children's activities, video games, workshops, and special programs designed to introduce the festivities to the youngest members of the family.

The program will also include open days, exhibitions, guided tours, theater, film screenings, sports activities, and initiatives related to the environment and local heritage. Key venues will include Villa Closa, the Roman Villa of Els Munts, the La Violeta Cultural Center, and various squares throughout the municipality.

A major festival to experience Altafulla in the streets, rediscover traditions and enjoy a varied, participatory and festive program for days.
