Winter Festival in Vilallonga del Camp

Villalonga del Camp immerses itself in days full of festivities and activities with the celebration of the Winter Festival in honor of Sant Martí.

When November arrives, everyone gets together again ready to celebrate the Winter Festival in honor of the Patron Saint, Sant Martí Bisbe.

These are days to reconnect with the townspeople, take to the streets, and enjoy a festive atmosphere where local culture, music, and community take center stage. This year's program, carefully curated by the Festival Committee, combines activities for all ages and opportunities to share with the community.

The festivities will kick off on Friday with the opening proclamation by the Armats de Vilallonga del Camp, preceded by the awakening of the giants and the traditional call to celebration. The following day, Saturday, will begin with a Zumba session open to everyone, followed by the family show "Karoli, the Wheel Man," a witty and humorous performance. The afternoon will bring one of the biggest new additions: the "Estiuet de Sant Martí Fest," a concert featuring local bands, food trucks, and a festive atmosphere for a vibrant night filled with locally sourced music.

Sunday will be dedicated to popular culture with the Giant Figures Gathering, which will fill the streets with color and music, followed by an afternoon comedy show that promises to make everyone laugh. On Monday and Tuesday, the program continues with film screenings, participatory activities, and, as a grand finale , a solemn mass and early music concert by the Cobla Mitja Lluna ensemble at the Church of Sant Martí Obispo.

Vilallonga del Camp invites everyone to experience this Winter Festival to the fullest, a celebration that unites tradition and modernity, and that year after year reinforces the feeling of community and the warmth that defines the town.
