Discover the Pineda Platja!

In Vila-seca, la Pineda Platja, we can find an extensive golden sandy beach of more than 3 kilometres large. The waters that bathe the beach are usually calm and clear, and when you go into the sea, you will notice a very gentle slope. This combination makes it an ideal place to enjoy with family and friends.

La Pineda Platja is one of the widest urban spaces open to the sea on the Costa Daurada. Here you will find all kinds of services designed to meet the needs of tourists, such as bars and restaurants, as well as nautical rentals, toilets and showers... This area is of great scenic value for the destination and since 1999 it has been awarded with the Blue Flag, a quality mark and distinction given by the Spanish Environmental and Consumer Education Association (ADEAC) which ensures compliance with the safety requirements established by the European Union in terms of environmental management, cleanliness and services.

Next to La Pineda beach is the promenade, where you can stroll and relax enjoying the landscape, the sun and the sea breeze. These two areas are adapted for people with reduced mobility and are free of architectural barriers. To get to the sand, there are several adapted accesses as well as parking spaces reserved for these people, and amphibious chairs to access the water.

Finally, during the summer, on La Pineda beach, the Club Esportiu offers the possibility of practising a wide variety of sports, such as volleyball, sand football and tennis. There is also a street workout calestenia facility where you can train with your own body and, finally, during the months of July and August, supervised activities are held every day, including yoga, zumba, body combat, body balance, meditation, etc.
