FineArt Igualada
FineArt Igualada is one of the most important and unique photography festivals in Spain, celebrating its 14th edition this year from February 27th to March 22nd, 2026. The event transforms the city of Igualada (Barcelona) into a vast exhibition circuit, turning urban spaces, some usually closed to the public, into galleries. The exhibitions are spread across more than twenty rooms and exhibition spaces, creating a broad and diverse visual journey throughout the city.
Since its creation in 2012 by the Igualada Photographic Association and the City Council, FineArt Igualada has established itself as a leading event on both national and international photography circuits. The festival combines art, culture, and urban revitalization, inviting the public to connect with photography as an art form. Each exhibited image becomes a unique piece that conveys emotions, ideas, and stories, encouraging reflection and contemplation.
This festival not only features exhibitions but also offers a diverse cultural program that includes talks, guided tours, workshops, panel discussions, and other activities for all ages. During the festival, visitors can participate in activities such as photo rallies, photobook markets, and guided tours that will further enrich the experience.
FineArt Igualada is much more than an exhibition of photographs; it's a cultural experience that brings photography to everyone, from established professionals to amateurs and art and design schools. In addition to fostering artistic creation, the event helps revitalize the city center, opening up unique spaces and showcasing the city's architectural and cultural heritage.
FineArt Igualada is a celebration of photography that transforms Igualada into a meeting point for creators, viewers and all those who want to explore visual art in an urban context full of life and innovation.
