Canicross and charity walk in Reus

Reus awaits you and your dog: sport, nature and solidarity!

A Sunday outdoors, a good cause, and the best company; on November 15, 2026, you have a date in Reus. The 6th Reus Canicross and Solidarity Walk are back, eager to share miles and help homeless animals. This year, the event has a new location around the Boca de la Mina promenade, a perfect opportunity to discover this corner of the capital of the Baix Camp region.

This year's event features three new courses so you can choose how you want to experience it. The canicross race offers a 6.46 km course for running as a team with your dog, while bikejoring adds the excitement of both wheels with a 3.87 km route.

If you prefer a leisurely stroll to enjoy the scenery, join the 3.64 km Solidarity Walk. You can participate with or without your dog, with family or friends: what matters is sharing the journey and joining forces for a common cause. Registration costs €5, or €12 if you'd like a t-shirt as well.

The youngest children also have their own space, with a non-competitive children's canicross for ages 3 to 12, free with the shirtless option. A way to discover the sport alongside the animals.

Take advantage of your outing to explore the area around Boca de la Mina, with places like Bassa del Bacalao or Parc de les Olors. Nearby you'll also find the Institut Pere Mata, a landmark of Reus's modernist heritage that might inspire your next visit.
