Camins dels Càtars Cultural Festival in La Baronia de Rialb

The Barony of Rialb will host a new edition of the Camins dels Càtars Cultural Festival, a proposal that invites you to discover the heritage, literature, music and spiritual memory of one of the great European cultural routes.

The Monastery of Santa María de Gualter will become the setting for the IV Literary and Musical Day, an event open to all audiences that combines knowledge, culture and emotion in a heritage environment of great beauty.

The day will begin with an official welcome and continue with the presentation of the book "La gnosi del cristianisme càtar" (The Knowledge of Cathar Christianity), a work that compiles contributions from international specialists on Catharism and its spiritual tradition. The Camins dels Càtars - Cercamón Awards project will also be presented, a cultural recognition initiative linked to literature, communication, and the dissemination of this legacy.

Throughout the day there will be presentations and reflections on the history, beliefs and stories that have accompanied the Cathar world, as well as a popular singing in the monastery courtyard with the song "Lo Boier", considered a spiritual anthem of the Cathar paths.

The program will also include a fraternal meal in the cloister and a heritage interpretation day in the Romanesque church of Sant Martí de Terrassola, which will allow visitors to discover a space of medieval origin and great historical value.

The final point will come with the concert "300 Crits" by Marina Rossell, an intense and emotional proposal that speaks of resistance, memory and human emotions.
