"Ordint Revolucions," a project selected for the Efímer'Art call for proposals, explores the lives of working women in Santa Perpètua during the 20th century, witnesses to the beginnings of the feminist revolution. Through art and collective memory, it reclaims their legacy and the fight for gender equality.
The artist Iris Garcia Serra brings us closer to the Santa Perpètua of the past through the experiences of women who, despite having several jobs, shared a reality marked by inequality and the burden of domestic work.
The exhibition celebrates the memory and legacy of these women, highlighting their fight for equality. It is a tribute to feminism and the revolution that 20th-century women began to weave.
