Claro de Luna Itinerary in Santa Maria de Palautordera

We leave the Plaza de la Villa along Calle Consolat de Mar, we continue along the Rambla de los País Catalanes until the end, where we turn left onto Calle Ramón y Cajal, in the direction of Sant Celoni, which we continue until it ends. We turn left until the roundabout and take the exit on the right, to cross La Tordera. Just after passing the bridge we turn left, taking the track towards Mosqueroles.

We follow the main track, leaving paths and farmhouses to the right and left, the utmost respect is requested for the fields and cattle, until a detour, we take the one on the right, going around some fields. We continue along the main track leaving the path on the right. We follow the main track leaving clearly secondary detours to the right and left. We can enjoy magnificent views of the Montseny massif, and the Mosqueroles valley.

We come to a paved track, we take it to the left, towards the hermitage of Santa Magdalena. We follow the track to the left, passing through the middle of Can Jeroni (M. Coll), we must be very careful with the fields, the animals and the farm itself.

We are in the middle of forests of holm oaks, cork oaks and pines; we pass near several inhabited farmhouses and cultivated fields: can Mateu, can Peugran, there is Picolo, it is Albert de Abajo, can Pau Gros, can Boter... We ask that you have the utmost respect for the fields and livestock. We follow the main track until a crossroads, we turn right towards Sant Esteve de Palautordera.

We passed by Circ Cric, the Circus Arts Research Center, the soul of Jaume Mateu, Tortell Poltrona, creator in 1993 of the NGO Payasos sin Fronteras.

We cross the Tordera and go up to the San Esteban handball pavilion, we turn left to pass in front and we take the path to the left, to go back to Palautordera.

The path ends at Europa Street, which we continue for 50 meters to turn right onto a pedestrian street, cross the new San Esteban road and continue straight on to the Ermita del Remedio. We go down the Paseo del Remei, a pedestrian area, passing by the Pau Casals Park until we reach the Calle Mayor, we go down the Calle Mayor to the Plaza Mayor, we follow the Calle Mayor until we turn left onto Calle San Burget and we arrive at the Villa square.
