The Great Quina of Bescanó
The Gran Quina de Bescanó is back for another year!
It is a celebration that combines the excitement of the traditional game with the festive spirit of the season. Organizers set up large boards with cardboard squares, each with numbered boxes arranged randomly. Each participant receives a card with a unique combination of numbers.
"El Canario" is the person in charge of announcing the numbers with enthusiasm. The neighbors gather around the tables, armed with corn or other items to mark the numbers that coincide with the advertisements of the Canario and two Showmans that entertain the Quina.
Not only is it an opportunity to enjoy games and fun, but it also creates a special bond between the people of Bescanó.
