Summer in Llançà - Active Family Holidays

Llançà offers an active, family-friendly summer connected to nature, with a program full of experiences to discover the town through the sea, culture, sports, and gastronomy. The activities invite young and old alike to enjoy a privileged setting between Cap de Creus and the Albera mountains, always with respect for the landscape and heritage.

The wellness offerings include beach pilates, aquagym, family mindfulness, and mindful walks along the seafront. Visitors can also explore the coastline through snorkeling, open water swimming, or swimrun, and participate in activities focused on the microscopic life of the port, marine treasures, and the Mediterranean flora of Cap Ras.

The program combines nature and creativity with outdoor painting workshops, dances inspired by African rhythms, and nighttime stargazing sessions over the Albera mountains. Families can delve into maritime legends, explore the fishing port and its surroundings, and learn about the work of fishermen, the fishing gear they use, and how they contribute to marine conservation.

Local heritage will also take center stage with visits to coastal bunkers, theatrical tours of the old town, and children's activities at the Romanesque Tower. At Espai GastroMar, maritime workshops and experiences dedicated to local products, such as anchovy salting, olive oil, cured meats, and Empordà wines, will be offered.

The beach library will complement the offerings with books, games, stories, crafts, and summer activity books. A diverse program for learning, playing, moving, and discovering Llançà as a family, with limited spaces and advance booking required for most activities.
