Priorat Film Festival in Molar

The municipality of El Molar hosts the Priorat Film Festival!

The day includes screenings of several films programmed within the festival's official selection, in a morning session open to everyone. The event takes place in a social and cultural space in the town, offering the opportunity to discover recently created audiovisual works and showcase emerging film initiatives.

Once the screenings have finished, an informal gathering with vermouth, open to all attendees and organized by a local entity, is planned. This event aims to foster conversation, reflection on the works presented, and interaction between the audience, artists, and cultural agents in the region.

The initiative has institutional support and the involvement of cultural and community organizations in the Priorat region. The format strengthens the link between cinema and the rural environment, and highlights the capacity of small towns to host high-quality cultural activities. Overall, it is a proposal that aims to revitalize local cultural life and bring independent cinema and new creative perspectives to new audiences.
